Product Description

For over 40 years, Zetex, ZetexPlus, and Z-Flex high temperature gloves and mitts have been trusted for industrial high temperature hand protection. Our gloves come in one size, designed to fit all users and able to be removed quickly in the event of excessive heat flux. Our mitts are reversible – extending the usable life of the product when one side becomes worn or abraded. Primary users include skilled trade’s people in Foundry and Casting Operations, Welding and Hot Works Operations, Glass and Ceramic Production, which includes Glassing Blowing and Pottery Kilns, Power Generation, Petrochemical and Refining, Laboratory and Testing Facilities. Double Palm Mitts are Reversible

This Double Palm style features a second layer of ZetexPlus Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Fabric at the palm and thumb for additional thermal insulation and extended heat protection.

They are reversible and can be worn on the left or right hand.

If the palm of a mitt gets damaged, flip the mitt and wear it on the opposite hand to extend the usable life of the product.

The ZetexPlus material used in all Newtex mitts is a heavily texturized fiberglass fabric treated with a proprietary high temperature vermiculite coating. This coating allows heat to disperse evenly across the surface of the fabric, significantly boosting temperature rating and abrasion resistance. Our mitts are lined with premium wool for added heat protection and comfort.
